Connect an MCP-compatible Agent to Kivo Studio. Prepare references, organize prompts and generate with your Agent; return to the website to compare Drafts and choose the final shot.

01
Add the connection
Choose your client below and copy its configuration.
02
Sign in & authorize
Connect, then use Google sign-in in the browser and approve Kivo access.
03
Create & review
Ask the Agent to work in a project. Its results are available on the website.
Codex
Codex uses TOML, not a JSON configuration file. Add this entry to ~/.codex/config.toml, or use the CLI commands below. If Kivo is already configured, keep the existing entry and run only the login command. Restart or refresh the client after saving.
Run the login command below to open browser authorization. It explicitly selects dynamic client registration (DCR) for Kivo. If the flag is unavailable, update Codex first.
This is a reference for clients that accept mcpServers JSON. For Codex itself, use TOML above. Field names and OAuth support depend on the client version.
List my Kivo Studio projects and available models. Do not generate anything yet. For my next video, ask which project to use and show the credit estimate before submitting a Draft.
One project, both ways to work
Open the same project on the website to see Agent-created assets, prompts and jobs. Review Drafts in the Draft results tab, select a successful Draft and generate a final video. Drafts and finals stay in their results tabs until you choose Add to library.
Authorization uses your Kivo account and project permissions. Ask the Agent to quote and confirm before paid generation. Successful generation charges the project creator’s credits, including members’ requests; free depth conversion stays free. You can revoke access in Connected Agents on the website. Never paste account tokens or payment keys into a chat.
No browser window?
Use the client’s Connect / Authorize action, allow browser pop-ups, and open any authorization link it provides in your usual browser. Sign in with the same Google account used on Kivo. Opening the server URL alone does not connect a client; an authentication-required response there is expected. Do not replace the registered callback URL manually.
