Add collaborators from project settings
First create a project. Its creator can open Edit project and enter collaborators’ registered emails, separated by semicolons or new lines. Save the project to apply membership. If an email is not found, ask that person to sign in to Kivo first, then add them again. Entering an email is not an invitation-email service.
The current default limit is 100 members per project, with the active limit shown in settings. Only the project creator can edit project settings and the member list. Existing projects without members continue to work as personal projects; there is no need to add yourself as a member.
Share a workflow, not just a folder
Members can enter the project to upload or generate assets, convert reference videos to depth, manage video prompts, generate Draft batches and produce finals. This is broad project participation, not a view-only review link. Add only collaborators you trust to work in the project.
Agree on a simple naming scheme for characters, scenes and shots. Let one person prepare references while another writes prompts, then review the same Draft batch together. If two people are editing the same prompt, coordinate before saving and refresh to see the latest version instead of assuming changes have been merged.
One project owner, one generation budget
Every successful generation in a shared project charges the creator’s credits. A member’s personal credit balance is not used. The balance check also uses the creator’s account: if that balance is insufficient, the task cannot proceed just because a member has credits. Failed generation does not charge generation credits; free depth conversion remains free.
Review batch sizes and estimates before submitting. Separate exploration from delivery: compare a limited set of Drafts, select the strongest take and then pay for the final you need. Membership itself does not impose a per-member spending allowance, so teams should agree on budgets and responsibilities before generating.
Hand off between people, Agents and the website
Each member can authorize a compatible Agent through MCP using their own Kivo account. The Agent uses that member’s project access, while successful generation still charges the project creator. Keep tokens private and coordinate changes just as you would when working directly on the website.
Use Draft and final results for review, filtering by task when needed. These results do not automatically crowd the asset library; add a selected result to the library when it should become a reference for another shot. The Quick start guide includes a member-settings shortcut for the creator, so the team can return to the same workflow without hunting through menus.
