Connect once, work in your own projects
Kivo’s remote MCP service is https://kivst.com/mcp. The MCP guide provides client-specific setup for Codex, Claude Code and WorkBuddy. Add the connection, start authorization in the client, and sign in to Kivo with Google in your browser. Review the requested permissions before approving access. You do not need to paste a Kivo session token into the chat.
The Agent works as the authorized user, so it can access your own projects and projects shared with you. Connection does not grant access to other users’ private projects. Start by asking it to list your projects and available models without submitting a generation.
Turn a creative brief into a small, reviewable batch
Give the Agent a clear project, subject, visual style, shot duration and reference choices. Ask it to inspect the current model list rather than assume a model ID. It can help manage assets and video prompts, optimize prompts, generate images, video or audio, and submit free depth-video conversions. Uploaded references belong to the selected project.
Before paid generation, ask for the selected parameters, batch size and credit estimate, and approve a small first batch. Each variation adds cost. A four-shot exploration should be a deliberate choice, not an accidental retry loop. Successful generation uses the project creator’s credits, even when a member makes the request.
Let jobs run; make the final choice on the website
Generation returns a task rather than an immediate finished file. Ask the Agent to query that task until it succeeds or fails, and to report its actual status. A pending response is not a reason to submit the same generation again. If a task fails, review the message and your inputs before deciding whether to retry.
Open the same project in Kivo Studio to inspect assets, prompts and job results. Compare videos in Draft results and select a successful Draft before requesting a final. Final generation is a separate step with its own cost. Drafts and finals remain in their respective results tabs; use Add to library only when you want a result to become a reusable project asset.
Keep creative direction and access under control
An Agent is useful for preparing repeatable steps; visual judgment still belongs to the creator. Review character details, camera movement, reference influence and the chosen take before committing to a final. When the task belongs to a team project, agree on the creator’s budget before generating.
Use the website’s Connected Agents section to review or revoke an authorization you no longer need. Never share one person’s tokens across a team: each member should authorize their own account and use the shared project. The MCP setup guide includes copyable configurations and browser-authorization troubleshooting.
