What is available today

A submitted plugin is not yet an available marketplace installation. Until the Grok Bot listing is published, use the Kivo MCP guide to connect a compatible client such as Codex, Claude Code or WorkBuddy. There is no need to install an unofficial plugin or hand anyone your password.

Kivo’s MCP endpoint is already available at https://kivst.com/mcp. A generic JSON example is included in the guide, but custom-server support and configuration fields depend on the client. That JSON is not a Grok Bot marketplace installation code.

After listing: connect and approve in the browser

Once the listing is available, search for Kivo Studio in the Grok Bot plugin marketplace and follow the Connect action. The connection opens Kivo’s authorization page in your browser. Sign in using the Google account you use for Kivo, review permissions and approve. Return to the Agent after the client completes the callback.

Authorization connects an existing Kivo identity; it does not create a separate studio containing different results. If you manage several Google accounts, check the email shown before approving so the Agent sees the projects you expect.

Make the first request small and explicit

Start with a read-only request: list projects, available models and the relevant project balance. Then choose a project and explain the creative goal. Ask the Agent to reuse existing references, prepare a video prompt and show the parameters and credit estimate before any paid generation.

For exploration, request a small Draft batch instead of immediately generating a final for every idea. Depth-video conversion remains free; generation of new video is a separate paid task. In shared projects, all successful generation is paid from the project creator’s balance, so agree on the budget with that person first.

Return to Kivo for the visual decision

The Agent can submit work and query task status, while the website gives you the project’s visual workspace. Open Draft results to compare the generated takes, replay motion and select the version you want to finish. Final generation remains a separate, confirmed step.

You can continue manually after an Agent session ends. Assets, prompts and task results are stored in the project, rather than only in the conversation. When you stop using a connection, revoke it from Connected Agents on Kivo. Publication timing depends on marketplace review; this page does not promise an approval date.
