Give the shot a story.
Explore reference-led motion and longer scenes in the examples below. In Kivo, test a direction with Draft, then produce the selected take in up to 1080p.
- Reference control
- Draft → final
- Up to 30s per shot
A paper puppy and a real-world scene: a reference-led example of mixed visual styles.
Write a shot, not a list of adjectives
Start with the subject and setting, then explain the action and camera movement in order. For a short shot, one readable action often works better than several unrelated events. Add lighting, visual style and sound after the sequence is clear. Review the result for motion and continuity, not only a beautiful first frame.
Give each reference a job
In Kivo, choose an asset with @ and explain whether it guides appearance, motion, camera or sound. A depth video can guide spatial movement while an image establishes the look. Kivo translates video references to numbered material labels for the model. Do not expect the same visible @ spelling in every model request.
Explore with native drafts
Seedance 2.5 is connected to Kivo’s draft and final workflow. Save the video prompt, generate a small batch of 480p candidates, then promote the selected draft to a final. Resolution, duration and count affect the quote. Parameter controls show the price before submission, and successful saved results are charged individually.
From the examples to your project
The examples above show reference-led storytelling. For your own AI film, anime scene, game shot or TVC concept, start with a clear action, framing and camera move. Keep character and environment references in the asset library, then reuse the same prompt across a Draft batch. Compare the takes before spending on the final output.
A free depth-video reference can help emphasize structure and motion rather than source textures. It does not guarantee removal of every source detail. Kivo’s available workflow is reference selection, Draft comparison and final generation; editing and video extension shown in some model demos are not separate Kivo tools.
